Our Debs Park guide was so popular that we decided to give the Baldwin Hills the national park treatment as well! New in our Etsy shop, you can purchase one of these fantastic guides to Kenneth Hahn Park, inspired by the iconic national park brochures! Inside you'll find lots of info on the history of the park, what there is to see, and how to get there!
One of the coolest places we featured in our San Pedro guide was the @marinemammalcare center, a hospital and rehabilitation center for seals and sea lions that have been injured or infected. Here, seals and sea lions are treated before being released back into the wild. And on weekends, it's open to the public! 🦭
We featured so many cool places in our San Pedro guide that we wanted to highlight some of them individually! So here's @cabrilloaquarium -- a wonderful aquarium on Cabrillo Beach, where the LA harbor meets the ocean.
At the southern tip of Los Angeles, the quiet neighborhood of Coastal San Pedro has a lot of gems to explore: beaches, tidepools, ocean views, a hospital for seals, an aquarium, an old military fort, and even the ruins of a neighborhood that fell into the sea. Check out our newest guide, featuring all of this and more! Link in the bio!
We just hit 2 years of Transiting Los Angeles! Thank you all for your support and enthusiasm these past couple of years, you make creating these guides incredibly rewarding!
Just some of the really delightful model railroad layouts at the Belmont Shore Model Railroad Club, housed in an old army building in Angels Gate Park of San Pedro. It’s only open Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, but if you have the chance to go we highly recommend it!
